Cost basis and profit-taking

Bloomberg Intelligence ETF analyst James Seyffart said Monday that the average Bitcoin ETF holder was back above water for the first time since January as Bitcoin moved above his estimated ETF cost basis of about $81,722 per coin. Separate CryptoSlate coverage noted that heavy ETF demand has coincided with short-term holder profit-taking near recent highs — a reminder that inflows and spot price do not move in a straight line.
