Ripple USD (RLUSD) circulation reached about 2.49 billion tokens as of Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026, with market value near $2.5 billion, according to TokenPost coverage published late Saturday. On the XRP Ledger alone, tracked stablecoin value stood near $1.19 billion — up roughly 6% over seven days and 11% over 30 days — with RLUSD accounting for about $1.1 billion, or more than 92% of that ledger stack.

The multi-chain circulation print (tokens outstanding across supported ledgers) is larger than the XRPL-only market-cap slice. TokenPost notes the distinction: the ~2.49 billion figure counts tokens; the nearly $2.5 billion figure is market value at the dollar peg.

XRPL concentration stays extreme

Friday’s DefiLlama-based desk print had XRPL stablecoins near $1.159 billion with RLUSD at ~92.1%. The Saturday TokenPost update moves the XRPL total to about $1.19 billion while keeping RLUSD’s share above 92% — concentration, not a broad multi-issuer boom on the ledger.

A larger RLUSD float supports payments, settlement, and treasury use cases Ripple markets for the dollar token. It is not, by itself, evidence of equivalent XRP purchases. XRP remains the ledger’s native asset with a market-set price. Live marks Sunday morning (~9:11 a.m. MT via Robinhood) put XRP near $1.52. Not investment advice.
