The corporate treasury bid kept showing up last week, if at very different sizes. Strategy (MSTR) said it bought 334 BTC for about $28.7 million between Oct. 1 and Oct. 4 at an average $85,838.80 per coin, lifting holdings to a record 848,000 BTC at an average cost of $75,440.70, according to its filing as reported by Decrypt. Over roughly the same stretch it repurchased $176.3 million of its Stretch (STRC) preferred stock — about six times what it spent on Bitcoin — and estimated a $20.91 billion third-quarter gain on digital assets, with $1.88 billion of associated deferred tax expense.
Strive (ASST) added 2,000 BTC for $169 million, bringing its total to 29,462 BTC, funded by warrant exercises and sales of its SATA preferred, according to CoinDesk’s Monday live coverage. On the Ether side, Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) bought 15,112 ETH — roughly $41 million at Monday’s ~$2,700 price — taking its stash to 6,016,414 ETH, about 4.9% of supply and just shy of its 5% target, CoinDesk reported.

Strategy’s quarterly gain is a fair-value mark on coins it still holds, not cash profit, and its latest buy came in about 14% above its overall average cost (Decrypt). Treasury purchases are disclosed after the fact and say nothing about future buying. Robinhood showed MSTR near $162.53 around 9:22 a.m. MT versus a $160.01 Friday close, with BTC near $85,500. Not investment advice.
