At XRP Seoul 2026, Ripple Senior Director of Engineering Ayo Akinyele mapped an XRPL engineering roadmap centered on trust, privacy, scalability, and AI-agent rails, according to CryptoPotato (Jordan Lyanchev). The desk highlighted confidential transfers via zero-knowledge proofs for institutions that cannot expose full transaction workflows on-chain, plus transaction batching (all-or-nothing multi-ops), formal verification, and adversarial testing.
Akinyele said AI-agent volume already exceeds 11 million related transactions on XRPL. Ripple is building verifiable identities, permissions and spending controls, and secure smart wallets for XRP and stablecoins, with settlement cited at roughly 3–5 seconds for machine-to-machine payments. The talk framed these as rails under construction — not a single live “flip the switch” product day.

FollowRoadmap ≠ live feature today
Conference engineering maps are institutional context — not a spot price catalyst and not confirmation that confidential transfers or agent wallets are live for every user today. Live marks Sunday morning (~9:15 a.m. MT via Robinhood) put XRP near $1.51, BTC near $85,336, ETH near $2,699, SOL near $121.92. Not investment advice.
