This is the week the XRP Ledger’s fall upgrades are scheduled to switch on — and one of them is running with almost no cushion. Live amendment data from XRPScan on Monday morning (Oct. 5) showed PermissionDelegationV1_1 supported by 29 of 35 trusted validators against a listed threshold of 28. Its two-week majority clock started Sept. 24 at 21:25 UTC, which puts activation around Oct. 8 at ~21:25 UTC if support holds. Losing two supporters before then would drop it below the line and restart the clock — exactly what happened to Batch last month.

The Batch pair looks sturdier: fixBatchV1_2 showed 35 of 35 validators and BatchV1_1 (XLS-56) 30 of 35, both on track for Oct. 9 around 14:12 UTC and 14:46 UTC, respectively, per XRPScan’s majority timestamps. RippleCoinNews (Gracie Perez, Oct. 4) reported the same schedule and explained that Batch lets up to eight transactions settle as one all-or-nothing operation, after an earlier Batch version was withdrawn over a signature-checking flaw and an earlier support dip reset the Sept. 29 target.

Evernorth’s XRPN is due the same day

Off-ledger, Evernorth Holdings said its business combination with Armada Acquisition Corp. II is expected to close Oct. 7, with Class A shares expected to begin trading on Nasdaq as XRPN on Oct. 8. At closing, Evernorth expects to hold about 473 million XRP, which it says would make it the largest publicly traded pure-play XRP treasury company; investors named include Arrington Capital, SBI Group, Ripple, Pantera Capital, Kraken and GSR (company press release, Oct. 1). The SPAC already trades under XRPN: Robinhood showed it near $38.06 around 9:22 a.m. MT Monday versus a $39.42 Friday close.

Who has to act — and what this isn’t

Node operators were told to run xrpld 3.4.1 to avoid being amendment-blocked; ordinary holders don’t need to do anything. Amendment activations and a listing date are infrastructure and calendar events, not a price forecast. XRP was near $1.50 on Robinhood Monday morning. Not investment advice.
