Nonfarm payrolls printed +29,000 vs roughly 90,000 expected; unemployment held at 4.2%. CME-linked October hike odds were near ~22.7% in those wraps. The 10-year yield briefly dipped below about 5.17% before settling near ~5.28% at the close — after Thursday multi-decade highs near ~5.33–5.35%. For the week: S&P −0.3%, Nasdaq +0.5%, Dow −1.3%.
